"This facility is about a 100 years old, and it's it's time to replace it," the presenter said. Officials and participants discussed that several six‑figure pieces of equipment should be kept indoors and noted the existing layout cannot accommodate the fleet.
Attendees asked whether the new facility would include space for other town offices; presenters said current plans anticipate primarily Public Works moving to the new garage, with limited office space. Questions about maintenance responsibility for a new facility were raised and met with assurances that staff understand the need for regular upkeep if the town funds the project.
