Board reviews first look at water and sewer budgets; health benefits and union pay increase noted

Staff also said the budget incorporates newly negotiated union pay rates and projects a roughly 15% increase in health benefits after Jan. 1. The chair asked board members to review the packet and prepare questions for a scheduled presentation by Carrie at the next meeting.
Board members were asked to take a close look at the budget items ahead of the next two meetings; staff noted the review process may take three to four meetings if discussion is extensive.
