Roger moved to approve the extension through September 30, 2026; Megan seconded and the council approved the extension unanimously. Councilmembers confirmed there is precedent for administrative extensions and that staff had vetted the request through RAP administrative procedures. "Everything has been fulfilled in the contract except the student matinee which will take place on May 1," the presenter said.
The decision authorizes staff to extend the contract timeline to accommodate the festival schedule and remains subject to the usual grant conditions and reporting requirements.
