Staff told the board that the land-prioritization map with adjustable toggles is live on the housing authority’s website and that a new housing authority tab and updated tools and data pages have been added for easier public access. The GIS position has been filled and staff asked members to report any access issues so they can continue to refine the public-facing tool.
Staff also described a new monthly rental housing snapshot intended to track available rental and ownership units, market rates and how those costs compare to the housing authority’s AMI targets. The update is intended as a resource for the public and for board reporting; staff said the website will also host the authority’s monthly articles and community resources list.
Board members were asked to send any missing resources for inclusion and to suggest additional indicators they want to track on the dashboard.
