Andrea Henderson reported on the invasive-species/knotweed project, noting a Jan. 6 planning meeting with Valley conservation commissions and UVM collaborators. The commission announced that last year’s intern, Jack Lentz, has accepted a role as project coordinator for 2025.
The Vermont Land Trust (VLT) is hosting a webinar titled “Untying the Knot” on Feb. 26, 2025 from 12:00 to 12:45 p.m. to support regional coordination. Commissioners described plans to continue collaboration with regional partners to implement the pilot knotweed project using previously allocated ARPA funds.
