Selectboard delegates permit signatures, schedules interviews and advises on LUR process

The Fayston Selectboard delegated authority to Town Clerk Madi Vasseur to sign liquor and catering permits for Sugarbush events scheduled Aug. 2, 5, 12 and 19; the motion was made by Chuck Martel and seconded by Ron Graves and carried unanimously. The board also signed an excess-weight permit for Vermont Greenwood Resources LLC during the meeting.
Board members discussed scheduling interviews for two applicants for an open road crew position and explored potential interview times; no firm interview dates were recorded in the minutes. The Planning Commission asked the Selectboard for early review of proposed Land Use Regulation changes; the Selectboard advised the PC to follow the normal process and send the draft when it is ready rather than earlier. Chuck Martel noted he will be out for the Aug. 26 meeting but that the date stands if Ron and Mike can attend.
