The Langley City Council unanimously adopted its Oct. 21 consent agenda, which included approval of recent commission meeting minutes, the Oct. 7 council minutes, and 2024 contracts with Island Senior Resources and Whidbey Homeless Coalition. The council also recorded no-objection recommendations for multiple liquor licenses.
The consent package included payroll transactions and vouchers #44396–44438 in the amount of $159,740.76 and A/P transactions and vouchers #44399–44464 totaling $315,161.29, for a combined amount of approximately $474,902.05. Councilmember Chris Carlson moved to adopt the consent agenda and Councilmember Gail Fleming seconded; the motion passed unanimously.
