Mosaic representative tells Hardee County commissioners to be cautious about folding IDA under commission

He urged the board to preserve a long-term strategic view and cautioned that Mosaic-related funding is time-limited: "There's been $80,000,000 so far," he said, and he suggested the county consider endowment or other long-term strategies rather than allowing programmatic decisions to shift every two years with election cycles.
Schweiss emphasized that Mosaic is not taking a position on how commissioners should vote but asked the board to proceed "with caution."
