The Oklahoma County Excise Board on Wednesday approved filings from the City of Harris that include a general fund budget of $10,973,923.36 and a Public Works Authority budget of $7,567,350.67. Chair Eleanor Thompson read the budget figures as submitted by the county finance office, noting the item was requested by the county clerk's office.
"It's not for filing the city of Harris budget for the fiscal year 20 26 27 in the amount of $10,973,923.36. Their public works authority budget for the fiscal year 26 27 in the amount of $7,567,350.67," Thompson said during the meeting. Committee member Greg Cameron moved approval; the board seconded the motion and approved the item by voice vote. The filings were described by staff as routine, part of closing out prior-year paperwork and ensuring the county finance office had the budgets on record for levy and administrative purposes.
