County awards Pioneer Park bathhouse site work contract using EDA funds

County capital projects staff recommended piggybacking a job-order contract with S Works Construction through an intergovernmental cooperative to perform site work and a small lift station installation for the prefab Pioneer Park bathhouse. Bobby Keane said site work, sewer tie-ins and a small lift station will be required; the project is funded in part by EDA park improvement funds.
Staff recommended approving an agreement not to exceed about $216,008 (pending county-attorney review) and authorizing the county manager or chair to sign documentation. A motion to approve the construction agreement passed unanimously.
"Staff is recommending the approval of this agreement pending county attorney approval and for the chair and county manager to sign all documents and furtherances thereof," Keane said. The board authorized execution subject to attorney review and budget availability.
