Liberty School District schedules high school wall repairs and gym floor refinishing

Superintendent Jerrad Jeske informed the board that repairs to a leaking exterior wall at the high school are scheduled to begin the week following the June 23 meeting. The work aims to stop a leak affecting a back hallway and the gym, with interior repairs — including tile replacement and repainting — planned for the summer.
Jeske also reported facility improvements for gym use: both side baskets in the elementary gym can now be lowered for youth use and the district has scheduled gym floor refinishing for July 8 (elementary gym) and July 23 (high school gym). He thanked the Booster Club for support on the elementary basket project and said a new district bus is currently in a Spokane shop and expected to arrive soon.
