Superintendent Jerrad Jeske told the Liberty School District Board on June 23 that the district ended the school year with 565.5 students, down slightly from a starting enrollment of 568. "We ended the school year with 565.5 students," Jeske said in his report. He thanked staff who organized graduation and promotion ceremonies and acknowledged retirees Kipp Sims, Parrish Reedy and Larry Hardie.
Jeske listed new staff hires for 2025-26: Logan Terry (Band), Sydnee Preedy (English/History), Kristen Charlesworth (High School English) and Heidi White (High School Math). He also said the district will add two new college-credit math classes and may add up to four business classes next year; the new English teacher is already certified to offer dual-credit English coursework. On the audit, Jeske said the results were "excellent, with no findings," and noted a single recommendation to update some policy language regarding credit-card use.
