Commission Chair Paul Quinlan reported for the Mad River Valley Planning District (MRVPD) on the Annual Data Report and the MRVPD budget; he said Margo Wade presented on snow-making and the Heaven’s Gate project and noted the Irasville Master Plan meeting on Nov. 18, 2024.
Commissioner Andrew McNealus summarized Central Vermont Regional Planning Commission (CVRPC) topics, including recruiting participants for a Clean Water Advisory Committee and discussion of the Transportation Section of the regional plan; he said Green Mountain Transit is planning some route reductions though he was not aware of cuts in the Valley. Commissioner Michael Duell relayed highlights from a Nov. 13 Mad River Path meeting at Yestermorrow with roughly 100 attendees, covering construction and bridge types, easement rights, and updates to trail segments (an ArcGIS StoryMap was cited).
