On July 9, 2026 the Ludlow City Council passed Resolution 2026‑10 authorizing an amendment of the lease with McGinnis, Inc. The resolution allows the city to use the River Stage located on McGinnis’ property and pauses McGinnis’ lease payments through November 2026. City Attorney Michelle Eviston read the resolution and Mayor Thompson described the unresolved easement issue related to last year’s River Stage construction.
Council passed the resolution on a roll call vote with all ayes. Staff and council discussed the easement still being unresolved prior to the River Stage construction last year; the resolution provides a temporary administrative solution while parties work toward a long‑term easement resolution.
