Resident opposes cuts to community events and urges youth programming investment

"I am strongly opposed to cuts to community events, programming, and parks maintenance," Shibaba said, and asked council how it planned to adhere to the budget without eliminating services that support residents and young people.
Council recorded the comment as part of the public-comment period but did not take immediate action on youth programming or parks funding during the June 29 meeting.
