Volleyball places 6th at state; multiple All‑League honors for Lancer athletes

At the Nov. 25 meeting Kyle Dodge updated the board on fall and winter athletics. He said the high school volleyball team finished sixth at the state tournament and highlighted individual honors: Marie Denny was named South Division Coach of the Year, while Kendall Denny and Zoe Omlin were selected to the all‑league team.
Dodge also reported the girls cross‑country team was recognized as State Academic Champions, and listed football recognitions: six Offensive All‑League selections, six Defensive All‑League selections and three Special Teams All‑League selections, with Coleman Tee named League Co‑Defensive MVP. Wrestling and basketball seasons have begun, and first home basketball games are scheduled for Dec. 3 and Dec. 6; wrestling has a meet in Deer Park on Dec. 7.
