Superintendent Jerrad Jeske told the board that district enrollment remains steady at 561 students, not including Transitional Kindergarten (TK). Jeske said the district will have Dana prepare numbers for the next board meeting to illustrate a possible TK funding loss for the remainder of the school year.
Jeske also reported that league superintendents and athletic directors recently met to discuss league progress and statewide sport results. He recommended continuing a two‑tiered football league next year to limit travel and keep more students in school, and asked the board to reevaluate the format after next season.
