Liberty spring sports wrap: softball at state, nine track athletes qualify

Baseball competed in the district tournament against Newport. Track had nine athletes qualify for the state meet in Yakima and will depart on May 29.
Dodge said junior-high athletics concluded successfully and the district is completing required WIAA end-of-year reporting and setting up Final Forms for next year. No formal board action was recorded on athletics during the meeting segments.
