One staff member summarized the technical finding: “During the course of, on‑site inspection with Federal Highway, the railroad, and our the city and our consultant, we found that there were some limitations in the existing approaches, particularly signage and striping at the approaches in the quiet zones.” The approvals authorize engineering work and related funding allocations to address those problems.
