"The total amount of that grant is 1,270,600," the communications presenter said. Board members asked whether this year's allocation represented a permanent doubling of funds; staff said the increase appears to be a timing/doubling for the fiscal cycle rather than a guaranteed ongoing doubling. The Chair moved acceptance of the grant and the board approved it by voice vote.
Staff also noted an additional state grant for PSAP operations of $281,005.52 that will fund personnel-related expenses and described earlier investment totals dating back to 2015.
