Commission advances Conservation & Recreation Visioning; community forums set for fall

The Conservation and Recreation Visioning (CRV) process continues with an EIWG meeting on Aug. 21 and a Steering Committee meeting on Aug. 26 to discuss draft recommended processes for new trail development and to compare Current Conditions and Desired Conditions statements.
The commission recorded two community forums planned for Oct. 9 and Nov. 20; the Steering Committee will use these engagements to identify priority management strategies and to bridge differences between community-desired outcomes and current conditions. The process includes ongoing MRV community outreach through events and updates.
