BJ Hess, representing the property owner, said the interior remodeling is complete and the owner now proposes an exterior refresh. Commissioner Benjamin Reed moved to approve the design review; the motion was seconded by Commissioner Paul Johnson and passed (AYE: Commissioners Reed, Schroeder, Johnson).
Because the application was approved by the commission, it will not proceed to City Council. The city will record the design-review approval and the applicant may proceed with exterior updates in accordance with the Design Review Overlay District standards and any permit requirements.
