Ludlow announces Fall Clean Up Day, HHW drop-off and a new neighborhood business

Code Enforcement Officer Jamie West told council that Ludlow Fall Clean Up Day will take place Saturday, Oct. 18, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the lot at Ash & Traverse Streets. He also reminded residents that the Northern Kentucky Household Hazardous Waste disposal event will be held Nov. 1, 2025, at Thomas More Stadium and provided the web resource www.nkyhhw.org for more information.
Mr. West said staff discussed the status of long-term and short-term rentals in the city and noted a new business, Calina’s Corner, will be opening soon in the business district. The Code Enforcement and Public Works committees also plan to review façade improvements and potential updates to ordinance language on rubbish and excessive growth.
