Grant-funded concert series planned at Ludlow plaza, kickoff tied to farmers’ market

Nathan Thompson of Infinite Hills Productions told council that Arts Wave approved a grant to fund six concerts at the train viewing platform on the plaza, scheduled for August, September and October 2026 and March, April and May 2027. Thompson said the concerts will be free to the public and the kickoff event will be held in conjunction with a farmers’ market at the storehouse.
Council members welcomed the announcement as a complement to other summer programming at the River Stage and discussed logistics about coordinating the kickoff with the farmers’ market; no permits or funding commitments beyond the grant were approved during the meeting.
