Board approves consent agenda, payroll and a bus-driver appointment

Board member Chad Denny moved “to approve the consent agenda as follows,” which included General Fund checks #117420–117475 for $134,220.15 and December payroll checks #117476–117494 for $702,584.20, among other funds and checks. Jeremy Engle seconded the motion and it passed all in favor.
The January accounts payable listing included General Fund checks #117514–117572 for $177,429.67, Capital Projects checks #117573–117576 for $12,974.38, and ASB Fund checks #117577–117581 for $1,937.72. The board also approved January payroll (checks #117495–117513) totaling $716,913.53. The consent agenda recorded a void of check #117345 and reissue of check #117582 for $438.98 to Lia Edwards, noted as a bank rejection.
Under personnel actions the board approved the appointment of Laurie Roecks as a bus driver and accepted a leave of absence for Rachel Widman, a kindergarten teacher. The board did not receive any public comment on these items.
The motion and vote were recorded in the minutes; the meeting proceeded to other agenda items and later entered executive session on personnel.
