Commissioner Moore reported an immediate capital increase of $1,521,567.87 to the board’s capital budget on March 16, 2026. "So we're adding $1,521,567.87 to our budget," Moore said, and told members the controller’s office also received two intergovernmental checks — $100,000 from the port authority for the northern screen wall design and $500,000 from the sanitary district for miscellaneous sewer projects.
Moore said those receipts contribute to an unallocated balance of approximately $3,380,000. Chair noted the work study session immediately prior to the meeting included discussion of new business but that "no decisions were made" there. The board did not take formal action on the funding report beyond accepting the update for the record.
