EDC approves minutes, OKs Chamber partnership for Aug. 26 networking event

Members also reviewed the committee's event budget, noting two $500 event allocations remained from June and July that had not been used and discussing sponsor-dollar rollover rules. The Chair said the committee would use remaining networking-social funds to support upcoming events and will prepare a council report for the end of August ahead of a September council presentation.
The meeting concluded by confirming assignments for distributing remaining 'Best of Miami Lakes' promotional sticker packs and by setting preparatory steps for the committee's next meetings.
