Planning staff told the Commission on May 18 that the Town Plan maps received an overhaul to improve color-coding and readability, and that the packet now includes disclaimers clarifying that the maps are non-regulatory. Land Use Administrator Ryan Gumbart explained that an area shown as industrial near Roo’s Farm corresponds to a solar field and that the solar installation contributed to the mapped industrial category.
Commissioner members and attendees also flagged drafting issues for correction: Beth Hunton noted a typographical error on the maps where “Residential” appears as “Resiential.” Commissioners agreed to correct that typographical error in the map legends before the plan is transmitted to the Selectboard.
