The Weathersfield Planning Commission voted unanimously on May 18, 2026 to accept the final draft of the Weathersfield Town Plan (draft number 2026.05.18) and to send the document to the Selectboard for the Selectboard’s hearing. The motion, made by Commissioner Mike Todd and seconded by Commissioner Howard Beach, instructed staff to include updated language the Commission agreed on during deliberations and to reinstate comments submitted by Todd Hindinger that had been omitted from the latest draft. The public hearing was declared closed at 7:58 p.m.
Land Use Administrator Ryan Gumbart summarized the series of edits that produced the current draft and explained how changes are marked in the packet (additions in green; deletions in red). The motion text referenced specific line numbers where language should be changed or added and directed that typographical corrections on map legends be made prior to the Selectboard hearing. The Commission also entered exhibits into the record demonstrating that statutory noticing requirements were met and said the exhibit materials are available for public inspection at the Town Office. The plan will proceed to the Selectboard for their scheduled hearing.
