Public Works Director Shane Hamant told the council the department has ordered benches and trash receptacles for the business district and provided an update on the amphitheater and other park improvements. He said the department worked to keep streets clear during the Dec. 2 snow event, and Mayor Sarah Thompson thanked the Public Works crew for the city’s Christmas decorations.
Councilmember Steve Chapman said he is waiting for specifications from the school’s IT department to finalize the proposed digital sign plan. No formal procurement decisions were made during the meeting; Mr. Hamant framed the update as routine project progress.
