The Ludlow City Council approved two resolutions on Nov. 13 declaring specified Fire Department equipment surplus and authorizing its sale or disposition.
Resolution 2025-15 declared several fire hoses surplus; Resolution 2025-16 declared a Fire Department boat, outboard motors and trailer surplus. The motions were read by Mr. Grote. Resolution 2025-15 passed on a roll-call vote with all ayes after a motion by Steve Chapman and second by David Ziegler. Resolution 2025-16 passed on a roll-call vote with all ayes after a motion by Julie Terry Navarre and second by Paula Graszus.
Council did not discuss sale timing, reserve pricing or disposition details during the meeting; staff will handle surplus-sale logistics under existing purchasing/disposal policies and return any needed reporting to council.
