Board adopts operational resolution and 2025-26 operating agreement

The Klamath Falls City Schools Board approved Resolution #26-01, which consolidates board delegations, responsibilities of the chair and vice chair, procedures for handling absences, and guidelines for forming ad hoc committees. Daymond Monteith explained the consolidation and noted that these items had previously been handled as separate motions in past years.
The board immediately approved the related 2025-26 Board Operating Agreement, which outlines how the board and superintendent will collaborate and conduct annual business. The motion to adopt Resolution #26-01 and the operating agreement each passed unanimously during the July 14 meeting.
