The Hardin County Fiscal Court reviewed and approved a consent agenda that bundled several financial and personnel items. The first five items covered financial transfers and the June financial report; subsequent items included personnel policy handbook updates, a job-description change for a rapid-response officer, a pay-grade classification change and EMS personnel changes. The chair also reviewed two IT-related items: a state homeland security grant application expected to seek roughly $26,000–$27,000 for software and security support and a security training renewal of about $6,000.
One magistrate asked whether an earlier-listed item (resolution 127) had been changed from dismissal to resignation; the chair confirmed the item was a resignation and not part of the vote. After that clarification, the consent agenda was moved, seconded and approved by roll call with all members present voting yes. Officials remarked that committee minutes for the Resource and Community Support Committee and the Finance Committee were also included in the packet.
The approved resolutions include personnel adjustments, grant-authority motions and budget transfers; the court did not remove any item during the meeting.
