"The biggest one of which is around $900,000 for some new cardiac monitors that replace some old ones that have reached the end of their life," the presiding officer said when introducing the ordinance. The motion to approve the ordinance was moved, seconded and approved by roll call; the court recorded unanimous "Yes" votes from the members present.
The amendment was presented as a first reading and carried forward with approval of the court’s motion. Court members did not request further amendments during the discussion. The ordinance was described as primarily funded from EMS-related revenue and grant receipts noted by staff during presentations earlier in the meeting. The court noted the vote passed by roll call.
