Dakota Dunes CID ratifies ARPA drawdown and approves multiple contractor payments

The Dakota Dunes Community Improvement District board on Aug. 18 ratified SRF Force Main Drawdown Request #1 for $205,077.69 from ARPA grant funds and approved multiple contractor pay applications.
A motion to ratify the ARPA drawdown passed 5-0. The board also approved Pay Application #2 to SuBSurfco, LLC for the SRF Force Main project in the amount of $162,974.63 for work completed through Aug. 14, 2025, and Pay Application #2 to L&L Builders for the CID maintenance building in the amount of $22,800 for work through July 31, 2025. The board tabled Pay Application #7 for the Big Sioux Levee project (Lieber Construction) for later consideration. The vouchers payable for August 2025 totaled $843,389.68 and were approved as part of the financial report.
Board members recorded unanimous votes on the approved payments; no individual dissent was recorded in the minutes. The SRF Force Main Drawdown Request #2 was tabled to the next regular meeting. The board will revisit the tabled levee and drawdown items at its Sept. 15, 2025 meeting.
