A CASA representative described a reinstated ISU work-study arrangement that will place ISU-funded students with CASA to assist with administrative tasks and outreach. "They pay for everything," the presenter said, noting the county's role would be limited to signing off on payroll; the program will not involve case-management duties for students.
Commissioners praised the arrangement and a motion to approve the ISU work-study agreement was made, seconded and approved by voice vote. The presenter noted that the program is fully funded by ISU and costs the county nothing in program expenses.
