Planning staff said the combined parcels total about 4.6 acres and explained allowable activities in AR zoning: grazing at a rate of roughly one mature animal (plus offspring under one year) per acre, poultry and swine for home consumption, horticultural specialty farms and on‑site sales of permitted agricultural products. Staff recommended approval and the commission approved the rezoning on a motion, with no public opposition recorded at the hearing.
The rezoning establishes AR use rights on the parcels; the owners will remain subject to any code limits on animal numbers and other operational restrictions.
