The commission acknowledged and approved a postponement for Granger Development LLC’s master‑plan revision (H2509) to the Nov. 10 Planning & Zoning meeting. Don Lacey, Coastal Engineering, representing the applicant, told the commission a potential purchaser had come forward and staff wanted time to coordinate conditions with that buyer before returning with a final recommendation. “The applicant has a potential purchaser… we wanted to go over with the staff again with the purchaser to make sure that the conditions… are what we’re asking for,” Lacey said.
The commission voted to postpone the item to Nov. 10 and clarified that advertising costs for the additional notice will be borne by the applicant.
Next steps: applicant to coordinate with staff and return on the Nov. 10 P&Z agenda with any revised conditions or plans; applicant to pay associated advertising costs.
