Juvenile Rehabilitation outcomes committee focuses on metrics, Green Hill safety and education outcomes

Justice Bobby Bridge, chair of the Juvenile Rehabilitation (JR) Outcomes Committee, briefed the oversight board on recent committee work including site visits, data review and strategic planning for JR facilities.
“Metrics, monitoring safety and institutional education outcomes are our three big buckets,” Bridge said, describing committee field visits and plans to present findings to the full board. He said the committee’s priority is preventing repeat safety incidents at facilities such as Green Hill and improving data collection to evaluate whether outcomes for young people are improving.
Bridge said the committee will coordinate with the board’s Oversight Board 2.0 data workstream to identify early indicators and actionable metrics, and will report back to the full board with presentations on strategic plans and proposed measures in coming months.
