Highway Foreman Mike Spackman reported routine grading and roadway repair work is ongoing. A failed computer monitor at the highway garage was replaced with a spare from Town Hall. Spackman said the one-ton truck’s Diesel Exhaust Fluid tank had been replaced after damage attributed to a puncture and that he would consult the installer about improved shielding.
Spackman also reported that radios purchased with ARPA funds represent a noticeable upgrade over the prior model and allow wider regional communication, with only intermittent areas lacking service where signals change between towers.
