Keithley family offers bronze sculpture, endowment for Metzger Farm Open Space

Open Space staff showed OSTAC members a proposal for a bronze sculpture titled “Promise of the Prairie,” donated by the Keithley family with an endowment to cover maintenance. Director Kristan Pritz described the piece as a family representation — a father and mother holding a young child — and said the donation mirrors a larger-scale work at the Westminster City Building.
Kristan said placement of the sculpture on Metzger Farm Open Space will be determined in coming staff reviews and that OSTAC will be updated once staff identify an exact siting plan. The committee received the information as an update and no formal action or vote on placement occurred at this meeting.
