Town Administrator Matt Frederick told the Selectboard the Town will unearth the Bicentennial Time Capsule buried at Albert Bridge School in 1976 and will bury a new Semiquincentennial Time Capsule to mark the United States' 250th anniversary. The event is scheduled to begin at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 4 at Albert Bridge School. The Town is collecting submissions from residents who want items included; the capsule size will depend on reasonable item requests.
Dana Wirak of the West Windsor Historical Society volunteered to document the recovery of items from the 1976 capsule and Linda Ley offered a place on the Town Hall stage to display items during the July 4 celebration. Matt will seek permission to bury the Semiquincentennial capsule and for related expenditures at the June 22 Selectboard meeting.
