Board elects Kirsten Taggart as chair and Dan Bowen as vice chair for 2026–27
Summary
During the reorganization portion of the meeting the board nominated and elected Kirsten Taggart as chair and Dan Bowen as vice chair for the 2026–27 school year by voice votes after nominations were made and nominations were closed.
At the organizational meeting Scott nominated Kirsten Taggart for board chair for the 2026–27 year; the nomination was seconded and, with nominations closed, the board approved Taggart by voice vote. Scott then led nominations for vice chair and Dan Bowen was nominated, seconded and approved by voice vote as vice chair.
The board briefly reviewed committee appointments and required disclosures for the new year; members were reminded to submit updated disclosures if circumstances change.
