The Selectboard voted June 8 to approve a scope amendment to the FY25 Municipal Planning Grant (MPG) to broaden budget line-item language for an affordable housing project without changing the grant total. Housing Commission Chair Jill Appel and MARC’s Jason Rasmussen explained the change is intended to provide flexibility within the existing grant award; Jason said the state is likely to allow only this one amendment.
Following that vote, the board considered a Letter of Agreement with DeWolfe Engineering to provide hourly housing consultation covered by the MPG. The draft was amended to broaden the scope to cover additional parcels and to include a cap consistent with the MPG technical services line-item. The board authorized Mark Higgins to execute the contract for professional services not to exceed $12,288.00.
