Selectboard members authorized a Letter of Support for an Enhancement, Development, Design, and Implementation Block Grant (EDDIBG) to fund final engineering for raising the lower section of Yale Heights Road and improving stormwater management. The project aims to reduce the risk of flooding that currently strands residents and prevents emergency access during large storm events.
The grant, coordinated by MARC, would cover 100% of the engineering costs with no local match. Mark Harley moved to authorize execution of a Letter of Support; John Brodie seconded and the motion passed unanimously. The board’s authorization allows MARC to proceed with the grant application on behalf of the town.
