Selectboard votes to ask state to install sharp-curve warning signs after resident complaint

The Westford Selectboard voted unanimously to request that the state install sharp-curve warning signs at a location where a resident reported a motorist failed to negotiate a curve.
Road Foreman Sean Cushing reviewed the June 26–July 9 road schedule and said the town has already investigated the location and contacted the state for permission to install signs in the right-of-way. Resident Kim Guidry had brought the corner to the road crew’s attention after tenants at one property expressed safety concerns. Casey Mathieu moved that the Selectboard ask the state to install warning signage; Julia Andrews seconded and the motion passed 5-0. The board asked Cushing to continue coordinating with state crews on exact sign siting and installation logistics.
