Sheriff’s Office to add radar trailer and radar units funded from reserve and grant money

The board moved to purchase one Radar and Variable Message Trailer (Model: Speed Alert 24 on ATS5) manufactured by All Traffic Solutions in the amount of $34,999.64 to be paid from the Sheriff’s Office Equipment & Technology Reserve Account (G1-3014-00) and to be reimbursed by federal grant funds; the related internal transfer to fund the purchase was also approved. Separately, the minutes record approval of a previously authorized transfer to purchase five Stalker DSR 2X Radar Units, as approved at the June 16, 2026 special meeting.
All motions carried 3-0 (Clark/DiBella). The minutes indicate the purchases will be reimbursed or funded from designated reserve and grant accounts and that procurement and accounting transfers will be completed by the Treasurer’s office.
