Town Administrator Tommy O’Connor told the board that the difference between budgeted funds and this bill was partly due to the town not engaging St. Albans earlier about the new standardized billing. Selectboard Chair Pat Haller moved to approve the FY'27 arrangement and Julia Andrews seconded; the motion passed 4-0. Members emphasized that emergency coverage cannot be left unserved and said the town should examine the billing structure more closely during the next budget cycle.
