Customers may water only on their assigned days and must start and finish watering on those days; Frank Alfone, general manager of Mount Werner Water and Sanitation District, clarified that “what is not allowed is to start your irrigation system at 11PM and continue watering past midnight into the following morning.”
The schedule was adopted jointly by the City of Steamboat Springs, Mount Werner Water and Sanitation District, and Steamboat 2 Metro District as an immediate conservation measure.
