Town Administrator Matt Frederick presented the Highway Foreman’s report on behalf of absent Highway Foreman Mike Spackman, saying the Better Roads grant project on Silver Hill Road is now complete. The work included tree removal to move the travel lane slightly south, installation of a stone‑lined ditch, bank sloping on the north side of the road, and placement of a new culvert to improve stormwater management and meet the State of Vermont’s Municipal Roads General Permit standards.
Frederick said summer grading is now underway. The board did not take further action; the report served as an update on completed grant‑funded work and ongoing seasonal maintenance.
The board recorded the Highway Foreman’s report and noted the town’s continued compliance work on hydrologically connected roadways.
